About Me

My name is Talmadge Everman and we live in Danville, KY. We moved here from Gainesville, TX in 1980 and have a small farm. After college I served five years in the USAF with my last assignment as an instructor pilot at Laredo AFB, Texas. I was employed with Delta Air Lines as a pilot in February, 1969 and retired in March, 2000 at the mandatory age of 60. While with Delta, I was based in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and Cincinnati. I was flying as captain on the MD-11 when I retired.

We have two grown children and four grandchildren. Besides taking care of our farm, we enjoy ATV riding, boating in a pontoon boat on our local lake, and taking short overnight trips. We used to do a lot of trail riding with horses but now are down to two, and they have become mainly pasture ornaments.

The picture above is of me,  my wife, and two of our grandchildren. It was taken this summer at Pawleys Island, SC. I will try to get a current picture of our other two (boys) soon.
